Managing Your Money During Job Transition...
As you can imagine I consult with tons of job seekers all of the time. One of the common things I hear from those that have been out of work for a significant amount of time is the struggle to keep income coming in. Some have managed to rely on unemployment income, some have allowed their homes to go into foreclosure, some have borrowed from their retirement accounts, and others have simply adjusted their lifestyle to compensate for their income status change.
I spoke with a representative at Edward Jones for some advice on what job transitioners could do to survive a moderate to lengthy transition and they had this to say… Check out the latest here.

For the Faith-Fueled Career Transitioner
God is Still Faithful
I remind myself of this every day! God has made me a promise and everyday I stir myself up by remembering how faithful He is. When I focus on the troubles, God is not glorified.. When I focus on God (The solution) I am excited about the journey. Today I read in 2 Corinthians 4:16-19 - Therefore do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary (temporary) troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
I hope this inspires you too!
