Managing Your Money During Job Transition...   As you can imagine I consult with tons of job seekers all of the time.  One of the common things I hear from those that have been out of work for a significant amount of time is the struggle to keep income coming in.  Some have managed to rely on unemployment income, some have allowed their homes to go into foreclosure, some have borrowed from their retirement accounts, and others have simply adjusted their lifestyle to compensate for their income status change. God has made me a promise and everyday I stir myself up by remembering how faithful He is. When I focus on the troubles, God is not glorified.. When I focus on God (The solution) I am excited about the journey. Today I read in 2 Corinthians 4:16-19 - Therefore do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary (temporary) troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.  I hope this inspires you too! INTRODUCING JOB SEARCH STRATEGY & RESUME DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS!

Based on some feedback I’ve received from a local university, there is a tremendous need for resume writing and job search strategy refresher courses. So with this in mind, ROYAL Resume Services is rolling out it’s new Career Strategy Education Series. This is a 4-part workshop that addresses every facet of landing your ideal job including everything from resume and cover letter development to how using social media can help propel your search results.
